We're Gabrielle & Ethan,
the founders of Third Light Wedding Studios.
What began as a passion for documenting weddings together with honesty and intention has grown into a carefully curated studio of photographers and filmmakers we personally select, train, and oversee.
Each member of our team shares the same approach to storytelling through true-to-life color, candid moments, and a timeless perspective. We ensure a consistent experience and cohesive body of work for every couple. No matter who is behind the camera, our standards remain the same.

We believe that photographs and films should look the way your day actually felt. Which is why we preserve true-to-life color and natural skin tones because your memories deserve integrity. Trends fade and filters date. Heavy stylization eventually feels foreign, but honesty endures. We believe in timelessness over trend. In color that reflects reality. In skin tones that feel human. In images that will still feel just as beautiful on your fiftieth anniversary as they did the day they were delivered. Wedding planning moves quickly, and the day itself even quicker. Your wedding day is sacred, and to care for it properly, it takes more than one perspective working in isolation. That's why our standard is a fully supported team and not a single photographer or videographer. Having shot hundreds of weddings, we have learned having multiple perspectives capturing your day is a non-negotiable.
At Third Light, we move as one. Our photographers and filmmakers are carefully chosen, personally trained, and continually guided under a single creative vision. Each member understands not only their role, but how it connects to the whole. Anticipating moments before they happen, supporting one another quietly, and protecting the natural rhythm of your day as it unfolds.
This collaborative approach means you are never shorthanded. There is always coverage, always awareness, always someone ready. And because we operate as an established studio we have the structure to adapt seamlessly. Should an unexpected emergency ever arise, a replacement is not a scramble or a last-minute compromise. It is handled smoothly, intentionally, and without disruption to your experience. You are never left vulnerable.

After you submit an inquiry, you will hear from us personally by email to confirm availability for your date and share more about our philosophy, investments, and what it truly feels like to work together. If your date is available, we will schedule a planning call to connect, answer your questions, and begin thoughtfully preparing for your celebration.
From there, the experience becomes collaborative and intentional. You are never left wondering what comes next. We guide you through timelines, lighting considerations, meaningful details, and the flow of the day so everything feels natural rather than staged. Our role is not simply to document your wedding, but to help shape an environment where you can relax and enjoy it.
Throughout the entire process, you are guided directly by Gabrielle and Ethan and supported by our carefully curated team. We remain closely involved from start to finish, overseeing every detail and ensuring the experience feels cohesive, thoughtful, and personal. You are never handed off or treated like a number. You are known, cared for, and intentionally served every step of the way.
